Our Fundamental Beliefs
These core beliefs form the foundation of our faith and guide everything we do as a church community. They are rooted in Scripture and have been held by Christians throughout history.
Founded on Biblical Truth
As part of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), we hold fast to fundamental Christian doctrines that have shaped the church for centuries. These beliefs are not just theological concepts, but living truths that transform lives and communities.
The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, our complete guide for faith and conduct.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16)
The Trinity
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose again.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
Salvation by Grace
We believe salvation is a gift from God, received by faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by works or merit.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. (Ephesians 2:8)
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit as available to believers today.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses. (Acts 1:8)
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and mission.
And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. (Matthew 16:18)
Divine Healing
We believe in divine healing through faith in Jesus Christ and prayer, as part of God's provision for His people.
He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases. (Matthew 8:17)
Second Coming
We believe in the personal, visible, and glorious return of Jesus Christ to establish His eternal kingdom.
This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven. (Acts 1:11)
Our Unwavering Commitment
We are dedicated to upholding these truths and sharing the hope of the Gospel with our community and the world.
